Varieties: Arinto dos Açores (>85%), Verdelho, and Alicante Branco Concept: On this island, for over 500 years, vines have been planted in the crevices of volcanic rock, just 50m from the sea, where you can hear the "crab's song." After the devastating attack of phylloxera and mildew in the 19th century, the stubborn hand of man preserved a small pocket of vines that resisted extinction. This "Centenary Vineyard" comes from one of these vines, over 100 years old, which survived and became the guardian of the exclusive Azorean grape varieties and a testament to traditional blending.
